Very easy. Beat two eggs, 2 tablespoons of milk, 1/2 tsp. of vanilla and sprinkle of cinnamon and mix it all together (this is for four slices of French toast). Quickly dip in a piece of white bread to coat both sides and brown both sides in a skillet with butter (make sure the heat is low or else the butter will burn). Pour on maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar. YUM YUM YUM

For the following directions, use about 1 egg for 4-5 pieces of toast.
Take an egg and beat to smooth, even consistency. Add a little bit of milk (about 2 tbsp milk per egg and 1/2 tsp sugar per egg). Heat about 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan. Take a slice of bread, dip both sides in the egg batter, and fry until both sides are a golden brown. Repeat until you've got enough french toast.

Ingredients for a 2 person serving of French Toast:
4 eggs
1 loaf of french bread (baguette), sliced into 1/4" slices
1tsp nutmeg
1tsp cinnamon
1 Tbs granulated sugar
1/4 C half-and-half
butter, syrup, powdered sugar for serving
1. Beat eggs together with spices, sugar, and half-and-half. Pour into a shallow dish (or a deep plate).
2. Place a pat of butter on a cool griddle and turn heat to medium. When butter melts and begins to "sparkle" in the pan, you are ready to cook. You may need to back off the heat if the butter starts to darken.
3. Dip slices of bread into the egg mixture on both sides to coat, but do not allow them to become thoroughly soaked. Place in the pan and watch carefully, flipping when the desired state of golden brown is achieved. When both sides are done, remove to a plate and dust lightly with powdered sugar.
4. Serve with warm maple syrup and butter for a classic presentation. Or for a fancier meal, try slicing 1C of strawberries and sprinkling them with about 1/4 C of sugar. Allow the berries to sit for a while to draw the juices out (at least 30 minutes). Serve french toast with berries, a dusting of powdered sugar, & whipped cream

Simple..
Take a shallow dish, like the kind you might make brownies in.. and crack a few eggs in it. add a bit of milk (just like you're making scrambled eggs) Then add a dash of cinnamon and some vanilla extract...
Dip your bread into the dish, and flip it to coat both sides, then drop it onto a hot buttered skillet, cook until it's lightly browned, flip, finish cooking and serve. Powdered sugar on top if desired.
For some REALLY tasty french toast, use Kings Hawaiian bread.. Mmmm it's good. :)

FRENCH TOAST??It is the easiest and most yummy thing to make!!!
you will need:
Cinammon to taste
Sugar (also to tast)
1 Egg
1 Cup Milk
White or soft wheat bread.
(just make sure it is not a rough bread ie pumpernickel or rye)
In a large bowl, mix up milk, eggs, sugar & cinammon.
Have a skillet on med. heat greased and ready.
Dip 1 slice of bread into the mixture until not soggy but all areas are moist.
then place into the pan. Watch it, like you would pan cakes, you will have to flip, and then when both sides look "french toasty" enough, it is ready to eat, with yummy maple syrup!!
repeat dipping bread into mixture and pan-frying until you have the amount of french toast you need.
AND LASTLY..................ENJOY IT!!!!

French toast is easy. Take an egg, crack it in a bowl and scramble it, then dip a piece of bread in it for a second or two on each side, then take that piece of bread and cook it on a grill like a grilled cheese sandwich. You can give it some extra zip by adding cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or ground cloves to the scrambled egg if you like. Easy enough?

It's basically just a milk and egg custard that you soak dry bread in and then grill in a little butter. A good way to make use of stale bread and get a nutritous breakfast or light supper. I usually add a little cinnamon to the mixture, but always use plenty of maple syrup (the real stuff).
P.S. Fresh bread won't absorb the custard, so be sure that it is two, three or four day old.

take an egg or two...scramble them, add some milk, I usually add some vanilla. Soak the bread, each side, in the mixture.
Butter a hot pan & cook them in the hot pan.
If you get some good bread, besides Wonder...like Challa (probably not spelled right) bread the result is even better.
make sure you cook them enough to cook the eggs, but a light golden brown on both sides is good
