I answer this question at least a couple times a week. You can't make your hair grow faster. It grows at a certain rate which is set by your genetics. If you are malnourished or have a scalp condition, you can make your hair grow slower, but if you're healthy your hair is already growing as fast as it ever will. Massaging the scalp and keeping out of the cold will increase the blood flow and make your scalp more healthy, but this effect takes a long time.

Listed above in the previous answers are many ways to make your hair *seem* to be growing faster, but it's only an illusion. Think about it... how could the split ends affect your hair growth? The spilt ends are on the end, but hair grows from the root. The reason to cut the spit ends is because it keeps the hair from breaking, and never getting any longer because of that. Cutting the end of the hair doesn't affect the growth rate.

If you cut it, the new growth will be easily noticed, but it's not growing any faster. There are many products out there that claim to help hair grow faster, but all they do is lighten your wallet. There are some products that can keep your hair healthy while it grows out, but we're all familiar with those already.

To check if your hair is growing: Look through the top of your hair - if there is new growth, you will see it. There will be hairs that are shorter than the rest... those are the new ones. This is why a healthy head of hair often has a 'halo' of short hairs sticking out all over the place - looks funny sometimes, but indicates good health.

I hate to tell you this but hair only grown about .5 inche a month and 6 inches a year. I recently chopped all my hair off also (6 inches) and I really miss my long long hair. Take some hair viatims and trim you hair every 6 weeks and that should help.

Hair growth also depends on genetics but their really is no way to speed up the growth process.

Maybe you should get extensions...

There is no easy way.

BUT, it is a true fact that hair grows faster when healthy blood circulation is faster.

Lots of exercise and protein input will increase the hair growth, but don't expect a whole lot fast.

don't worry, since you cut it, which means you got ride of any and all split ends it will grow faster now. and everytime you get slpit ends and your still trying to grow it out just get a tiny trim on the ends. and it may seem like its not growing but go somewhere and get a hair wrap ( you know that strip they wrap around a lil bit of your and the beach and carivles and stuff) if you get one of the in about 2 weeks you'll see that its grown out about half a inch it cool to see how fast it grows

A few years ago, when I had to get an operation on my head, the doctor had to shave the whole right side of my head. A friend's mom bought me lots of spinach and told me it'd help my hair grow back faster. To this day, I'm not sure just how effective it was, but you could alwyas try eating spinach. :)

There really isn't anything to do. But often in the warm weather, my hair grows faster than it does when it's cold. So if it's warm where you are, you won't have to wait so long for it to grow out.

Massage your scalp every evening or have someone do it for you. When you create a blood flow to the scalp you hair tends to grow faster.

1. minimize the heating utensils used on your hair if any.
2. Trim your hair every 6 weeks or when needed.
3. Massage your scalp daily.
