I would go to these people and see what their answers were. The moment any act of violence was suggested I would leave. If not possible they would have to kill me, my hand will not be forced by any other than me.
On a side note, if they made any attempt at persecuting anyone I would leave, with the same as above being the end if necessary. I would defend your right to believe as you choose, just as I would hope you would do for me.

I'd say holy cow! Those delusional people who believed in a 3000 year old imaginary carpenter and a bible that was written over 400 years after that imaginary carpenter walked the earth using a grape vine method to write it are actually right...holy cow!
Come on...this scenario will never ever happen as the earth wasn't created by god and there is no such thing as Jesus Christ's mystical powers. Jesus and god are the adult version of an imaginary friend a nine year old girl talks too. All religions provide hope to the masses in order to control them from stealing, killing and overthrowing the people in power who created this fairytale called religion. Go watch the science channel and you'll see how religion is explained away by natural processes that you think is an invisible man. sorry but god doesn't exist....wake up and understand that fact!

I guess then I would believe in the bible, and be horribly depressed. What could possibly be worse than finding out that a being actually exists, that tortures people forever for not worshiping him? I would (totally out of fear and a desire to escape unimaginable pain and suffering) throw myself on the ground and beg for this being's forgiveness, the same way I would to anyone with the power to torch me in a furnace for billions and billions and billions of years. It really is a terrifying story if you actually believe it. Even for the people who would be "raptured" to heaven. There is absolutely no way I would want to spend eternity in paradise if it meant that the 70% of the world that isn't Christian (that number is assuming that all Jesus-based religions are going to heaven like Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox, Mormons, Jehovah's Witness, etc., which most Christians probably don't believe) was going to have to be tortured forever for not picking the right religion. And even Christians agree they are no better than anyone else, they have just been "saved" which means they picked the right religion and said the right prayer. Anyway, that's just one atheist's thoughts on the matter. I guess I'll just keep waiting on the day when Jesus comes riding down to Earth from the cloud's on his fancy white horse.

Did everyone on here just watch the Antichrist specials that were on cable last week? LOL
Seems to be the theme of all these questions today.
Firstly, the "Rapture" isn't even in the bible, so I doubt that'd happen. Secondly, a big problem w/ people is that they take the bible far too literally, and chances are most of those things in there won't even happen anyway.

What is an Athesit?
As an Atheist i would probably assume that some kind of disease or something had hit the earth, kind of like in that movie with vincent price "The last man on earth."
I would try to live happily of of the stuff that the dissapeared people left behind until i die.

Unfortunately most who will answer won't have enough of an understanding of the Bible to comprehend the significance of numbers on hand/foreheads or disappearances. I pray everyone will truly seek the answers they need to make the right choice when this time comes because, believe it or not, sooner or later it will be here. Prayers =)

I would go underground and not follow that leader. Anyone who would want to put a number on my body I would not trust after Hitler had done that. The earth is a big place and there are still remote places where one could go and live in peace.

I think you should be asking christians this question, but I'll answer anyway. I would be grateful for the virus that attacks and kills people who carry an idiot gene. Then I would see where I could sign up to work with such a leader to help erradicate the virus.

How can you ask for a serious response to such an idiotic question?
These are by far the silliest questions, this "what if" nonsense.
What if you heard there was a news report that there is no god, what would you do?
We can do this all day.
Stop the silliness.

I'd assume the rapture had come.
Good thing such a silly fairy tale will not ever happen.
Edit - Raven... you are truly an idiot. Your typical atheist has studied more about your religion than you have. Any atheist that hasn't done so would be just as ignorant and misguided as your standard Christian.
