I'm so hungover the next day after taking it. I feel like I'm walking through mud, and my brain is cloudy. I'm feeling very depressed and like I could cry at any moment. Can Bentyl cause this?

Yes I had the same side effects with it. My dose was 4 per day and I just took 2 at bed time instead and that seemed to help.

I have no idea what Bentyl is but before your dr puts you on a drug they describe the side effects if the side effects you're having is not what they described or are more severe call your dr and have them adjust your doseage.
Webmd.com should help you with the side effects.
