Try applying a paste of oatmeal to the skin. Avoid anti-bacterial soaps-which are too drying. My doctor recommended Purpose Soap and/or Dove for Sensitive skin. Hope this brings some relief

I've had eczema all my life. Here's what works for me:
Use lukewarm water for bathing. Too hot or too cold will aggravate eczema by drying out the skin. Pat the skin dry, don't rub. Keep fingernails short. At least if you find yourself scratching, you won't do as much damage as with long nails. Use products with oatmeal in them. Aveeno makes a great lotion and a bath powder. The powder can make the tub messy but I've put it inside an old nylon and let it sit in the water before I get in. When I didn't have any Aveeno, I've used plain old oatmeal. I put it in a blender until it was ground fairly fine and used as bath powder. Use a good moisturizer but one that's not to heavy. I personally like Norwegian Body Lotion. Lubriderm is good too. I find heavy creams make my skin hot and more itchy. Avoid products with fragrance. This can make eczema worse.
