Our full grown rott and rott puppy get on the furniture and our bed. The big one used to sleep on the love seat until I rearranged the furniture then I would catch him sleeping on his back with his paws up in the air on the sofa, in my seat. Since the puppy has learned to hold it all night, we lock them both in the bedroom to sleep (in the floor) and when my husband goes to work around 3 or 4 am, the big one (if not both) lay at the foot of the bed. They'll lay on the bed sometimes, but only if the covers are up, I dont let them in the sheets. Also, we have slip covers on the sofa and love seat and I wash them often.

No. My dog has a bed and blankets to be on and doesn't need to be on human furniture for any reason. There are a lot of people out there with pet allergies, and I don't want family/friends/guests to have allergic reactions from sitting on my couch. I think it is inconsiderate--nobody likes to go to someone's house and end up covered in so much hair that they have change their clothes afterwards just because they sat on the couch. I like having company, and so does my dog. If I want to cuddle with my dog, I sit on the floor.

My husband and i let our dog on the furniture and we let him sleep with us at night. When i was growing up, our family dog was not allowed on the furniture. But when i got a small dog with my husband we never really thought twice about it. This is probably b/c we dont have children yet, so as of right now, our dog is like our furry baby.

Yes...all of them are allowed on the furniture it is thier house too, however they are taught to move for me or company. They are also all allowed to sleep in bed with me but I make my stinky dog sleep on a towel or sheet at the bottom! My other dog doesnt really like to stay on the bed he gets too hot and goes and sleeps on the couch. 3 of my cats sleep ON me at night..lol sometimes I wake up and I am roasting because of it so I kick them all off!! lol

Absolutely! The way I get the hair off is I get those rubber dishwashing gloves and just pet the furniture. It comes right off.

Not on the bed though. That is my space.
