Was your puppy treated by the vet for his mange? There are two kinds of mange dogs can get, sarcoptic mange, and hereditary mange. Both are treatable for the animal. Sarcoptic mange in a dog can lead to scabies on humans. It is very uncomfortable, but your MD can prescribe a cream that is effective; sometimes people require 2 treatments.
Take heart; it is not uncommon, and has nothing to do with a persons hygiene!! We went through both types of mange with our puppy, and many $$'s later, he was ok, and so were we.

It's possible you have mange too. There are 2 main types of mange that dogs can get--one can also live on people.
Get to the doctor and get some cream to clear it up.

If they are round in shape, it could be ringworm. Ringworm isn't actually a worm, it is a fungus. Check out these images on the internet below.
Call your local pharmacist for an over-the-counter ointment.

you probably have it now. it is possible b/c my mom got it from another dog. u should go to the Dr. and he will give u some stuff to shower with or antibiotics. good luck
