To the person who asked what Dar Williams has to do with Christians & pagans lolololol obviously you're not a Dar Williams fan (she has a song called "The Christians and the Pagans")

I'd like to think that I get along pretty great with Christians. One of my friends from high school is going to college to become a pastor. When we get together we love to have religious debates. It's a great way to learn about eachothers' faiths and beliefs. (For him especially, since all he knows about witchcraft is what's in the bible and what he 'learns' about it at school and I was raised Christian.

Whenever we part we always hug. I am always answering questions on her from both perspectives because i understand and respect that not all people have the same beliefs, and that there IS no ONE belief system/religion that fits all people. I respect everyone for their beliefs, I only wish that MINE weren't so misunderstood. :-)

Blessings and Light

What Does Dar Williams have to do with the question?

Right...about Dar williams...she has nothing to do with whether Christians and pagans get along. She is a pop star..i guess..and that's about that.

i thought you were serious.

I'm a Pagan, I have many Christian friends, though some of them still try to "save" me now and then. There's hope anyways. Will all Christians and all Pagans get along, probably not, but we can hope for more understanding.
And for the record we worship God and the Goddess NOT the devil who is a figment of Christianities imagination.

Can Muslims and Christians get along? Can Buddhist and Christians get along? NO< NO< NO.You know if you are busy forcing people to join you or tell them they will be burning in hell. it's kinda hard to care for other people. For some, putting down other religions works the best. Sad but true. I am a pagan. Are you?

Pagans do not worship the devil. A devil/satan is a Christian invention. Sometimes we don't get along because christians dont know what they are talking about when they use the term pagan.

Maybe when all Christians get along with all Christians and all Pagans get along with all Pagans we can give it a shot.

I believe we can. However, as a Pagan, the biggest problem I have w/ the Christians is that they have a very self righteous attitude & try to "save" people at every turn. I don't ever try to force my beliefs on anyone, so people should not try to force their beliefs on me. If that can happen, we'd all get along just fine. :)

I'm a Christian. I am of the opinion that ANYBODY can get along with anybody else if they only try. Instead of finding things to be incensed about, and getting all bent-out-of-shape because someone has a different belief, we need to be focused on the similarities we all share. We also don't need to shove our beliefs down someone else's throat, either.

Diversity is the spice of life. We're all unique. Wouldn't it be a boring place if we all thought and acted alike? Yes, we all CAN get along.

Theoretically, yes...We should all be able to get along. It has to do with respect. I respect your decision to be agnostic/atheistic and you should respect my decision to be a christian. My decision affects my life and that of my family, as your's does. I agree that overzealous people on both sides exist and exert their opinion which tends to change the minds of those undecided in their own choices.
Ideally, there will never be a truce because of this overzealousness. "Without light there can be no darkness." there will always be conflict. Shame, too. Rodney King said, "Can't we all just get along?"

I'm a Christian and have been my entire life, but I have many friends who are Pagans and have been their entire lives, and we get along just fine
