i think that you are only a fool when u fall in love with someone that is not right for you. I think a lot of the time people think that they love someone, but they just cant stand the fact of being alone. I think that you become a fool when you fall in love with someone who is mean to you. I think that love is respecting one another and have a good open relationship.
You also a fool if you love someone, they cheat on you and you take them back, i mean i guess you cant help it when you love someone, but people have to realize that there are more people in this world who ARE better then that one person
bottom line, your a fool if you fall in love with someone who doesn't respect you.

But I see that you're looking for a "real answer." Well, I've always felt, (and I learned it somewhere as a theory,) that people "fell in love" for a very good reason – procreation and survival, their own survival – and here I mean, so they wouldn't kill each other while mating. They would literally become "foolish" and risk themselves, their safety, to another person in order to mate. It was a pretty good reason for primitive mankind but it is, (I hope,) probably beginning to lose its purpose here among modern men and women. Anyhow ... it's just a theory – there’s no real proof.
But I also stumbled on this page while I was looking for your answer: http://www.helpself.com/love.shtml At the least, it appeared to be something worth reading... so I read the first bit… but after that, I only got as far as part way through the second short article. It’s okay, I guess, if you’re really interested in researching the question.
In any case, good luck finding the rest of your meaning for love... perhaps look inside yourself for the best reason… for your own personal meaning.

The same reason that non-fools fall in love. It's the way that humans have developed over hundreds of thousands of years. Asking 'why' is pointless. Accept it.

because they are nieve and sometimes what they think is love isnt really love, so you might even say that when fools fall in love they arent really in love...its just "puppy love" because they are fools and they dont know what real love is. So maybe at first we're all fools when we fall in love because maybe we think it is love but its really not so when it doesnt work out the first time, when we actually DO fall in love, we arent fools anymore because we know what love is and we know what love doesnt feel like from our first expierence...

Because they find someone who they can love that loves them back. Kind of sweet huh? And really can anyone help falling in love? I think it's just one of those things that you can't really control when presented with your soul mate. And I guess that makes me a fool too. Sweeet!!

People who wants to find a spouse looks for things they have in common with the other person..................
So if they are both fools then they are bound to fall in love!
