it depends what kind of hair you have...is it straight or curly? i have curly hair and have little luck making it wavy. however, i have tried using a jumbo rollers or a curling iron with a large barrel (2-3 inch) which didnt give me the desired "wavy" effect but came pretty close.

Use a large size round brush and blowdry with it. Then use a curling iron to put some minimal curls in them - not to where it looks like ramen noodle, just a few rounds, leave in for 2, 3 seconds and take it out.

But if you don't have time to do those steps, just buy a large size curling iron. That'll do it. :)
