I would not lose any of my beliefs because there is nothing in the bible that says there are not other worlds.

I think some would fall and some would life on. I do know that it would make many people question their faith. Especially the christians, The bible says that Earth was teh only planet capable of life, see creatures from other world would really put a damper on that wouldn't it. I just know that the universe is an awfully big place to think that we are the only world with life.

Yes, because all religions will adapt their religion to fit with the devil's deception. My beliefs would not be affected because I know the whole conspiracy ahead of time. You all are setting yourself up to be decieved by the anti-christ (which I believe to be a person called Maitreya) including the Christians that don't read the Bible. He is going to claim to be an alien (buhda, Christ, and anything that is called God) that seeded life on earth along with his band of demons which will also be desguised as aliens (It is the only way he can get the atheists to worship him). He will communicate telepathically to all humans once the restrainer (the holy spirit) leaves and trick enough to create a new world order with him in charge. Those Christians that know the Bible will realize his name adds up to 666 in Hebrew which matches the description in the Bible and will not be fooled (but may be willing to accept the number just to survive). The devil is already planting the seeds of deception as the majority of Americans and even more scientists (because primordial earth was not as conducive to life as scientists would have you believe) according to polls believe in aliens and the lie that they may be our creators (Direct Panspernia). You can even see this in Stephen Hawkins interview where he puts most of his hope on alien visitors. Many of "the most intelligent" people on earth will fall for the plot prepared for them by the devil, who is smarter. For those who know this, their ideas will only be reinforced.

According to Hindu Scripture Vishnu Purana, some of the extra terrestrial planets mentioned are: Atala, Vitala, Nitala, Gabhastimat, Mahatala, Sutala, and Patala and these are inhabited by Nagas, Daityas, Danavas, Yakshas, and others.

QUOTE: "faith is vanishing. Atheism and Agnosticism are the transforming into waves of theory in the international. good judgment and rational quite than faith and desire lead our lives immediately." different than for the certainty that it is not vanishing, that's no longer user-friendly to appreciate what that's that has gotten the recent atheists into one among those flap. The valuable predictions which persons have been making concerning to the loss of life of religion for the final 2 hundred years or so have not been fulfilled, and tutor no indications of being fulfilled. QUOTE: "An come across with yet another race of "smart" beings from yet another planet." And what in the event that they grew to become out to be non secular? i assume that rather could get the recent atheists right into a flap. @Flag pants: "The Vikings delivered their ideals to Britain yet have been outmoded by using Christianity whilst the Romans invaded." The Vikings arrived after the Romans had left.

Interesting question. My gut reaction is, religious organizations are like any other wealthy and/or powerful organizations. They adapt to survive, so they'd probably quickly come up with a way of incorporating the existence of life on other planets into their doctrine. Who knows, organizations like the Roman Catholic church have probably had a speech prepared for just that possiblility since before we landed on the moon. Their errors with the whole Galileo thing must have taught them a bit.

For myself, I don't even question but that there is life on other planets. I'd be pretty surprised that any life form that advanced would show up here, though. They'd be pretty well aware that we aren't evolved enough to handle it.

Depends on the adherent. I know Jerry Falwell would probably become either insane and still deny their existence (as he has said it is not possible they exist), or convert to a hard core atheist. Now that's a thought weirder that aliens. As for Scientologists and Heaven's Gaters, I'm sure they would do just fine.

I'm an atheist so if aliens existed it wouldnt change my mind. I think some people would lose their faith but the church would try to manipulate the bible to make it look credible in light of a new species.

Ooh...good question! I'd welcome proof of extraterrestrial life. It'd be nice to know there's someone else out there, even if they do plan on stealing our water and eating us.
As a plus, carnivorous aliens would cement my "apathetic agnostic" belief that if there is a god, he/she/it packed up and left a while ago :)

Religion would fall apart, especially when the second coming turns out to be the aliens and they tell us that they were the bible god and the creator of man as their slave race.
