Actually, peanut butter (especially crunchy) and cucumber sandwiches are delicious. The stickiness of the peanut butter and the cool refreshing cucumber make an interesting combination.

Favorite sandwich - bacon and tomato (lettuce optional). Also like French dip sandwiches or turkey or chicken with mustard and mayonnaise. The strangest sandwich I have made was probably as a child - peanut butter, mayonnaise, and grapes. I decided peanut butter and mayonnaise didn't taste good and never did that again. I was talking to a girl the other day who said her father loved peanut butter and onion sandwiches.

I like grilled cheese sandwhiches. The weirdest sandwhich I've ever seen eaten was mayo, peanut butter, banana and potato chips.

I've eaten peanut butter and banana sandwiches (not fried!). it's really not that unusual, but it really is quite yummy. Also, sometimes I'll by a can of pressed, precooked corned beef (one of those cans you have to open with that annoying little key), slice it up, put it between two slices of bread and chow down. Again, not really unusual. Just tasty. (And VERY fattening, which is why I don't do it very often!!)

My favorite sandwich is roast beef or any kind of beef with Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, romaine lettuce, heirloom tomato, Muenster cheese, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, and a little balsamic red wine vinaigrette.

The most unusal sandwich I had was in a sandwich place in Spain. I ordered a hamburger and fries. I took one bite of the hamburger and it tasted a little soft and a little like liver. So I asked the cook "What kind of burger is this?"

"It's a horse burger," he replied.

A Primanti Sandwich.. it's a Pittsburgh thing! Fresh italian bread with steak and cheese topped with fresh cut french fries and cole slaw (the vinagrette kind, not the mayo kind).
