Have you had outpatient surgery that would have meant hospitalization ten years ago?

My daughter recently had surgery on her shoulder, as an outpatient. Her father had the same surgery on his knee years ago, and was in the hospital for over a week. I am amazed at the things they can do today and just send you on home afterwards!
