it matters...i like guys u give me something from their heart not from their pocket..ti makes it cute and so much more sweet! i had a guy who bought me expensive things all the time and it just made him look insecure about himself...then i had another that gave me just a flower and i thought it was so cute and sweet..idk if that helped good luck
