It INDEED is a serious question when you're a parent and get the hell bothered out of you by the neverending use of it from your 5-year-old. And it requires the right and satisfactory answer that will prevent the next hundred why's to come. At least for a while, until your child comes up with another doubt. It makes us wise to chose the perfect answer after many failed attempts, and we learn patience also. You know you have to try harder if your answer is followed up by another annoying WHY. And I must add is NOT piece of cake finding a satisfactory answer with simple words their new minds might understand. This is the experience talking.

yes.."why" is a very serious question..A difficult one. it always require explanation and sometimes that explanation is not enough. Why comes from why. Another why follows why. Why ends with why.
