the IBS has no precise medication. it just requires a good way of management. practically the best thing to do is to stop eating fast food and increase the intake of vitamins and try to eat what you feel confortable with

Well, given that most medications always come with adverse reactions, I'd say none.

Have you kept a food diary?

Diet plays a valuable role in how IBS reacts or doesn't react.

My son has IBS. Prior to diagnosis, even Zoloft didn't help any.

IBS happens when the gut (bowels) lack an enzyme that regulates the serretonin in the brain.

Do you have mixed stool IBS, constipation or lose IBS?

Also, have you been tested for other diseases that might have IBS as a side effect such as Hepatitis C?

Try to limit your caffiene and sugary foods. Do not think that the fake sugar is good for you either, because, it isn't good for the healthiest person, let alone someone with IBS.

Try to figure out what triggers your IBS by keeping a food diary. It might also be a good idea to keep track of how your bowel movements are every day too.

Within two weeks, you should know what aggrivates it.
