Christianity is the secret to immortality.

Christianity would be reaffirmed by the discovery of immortality. It is not the fear of death that makes one convert to being a Christian.
If you believe Jesus Christ is the messiah (aka the Son of God), then you have taken your first step as a Christian.

Immortality of the human body would simply co-exist with religion.

Immortality in such a fallen world, even with a perfect body, would be a terrible burden.

That is why God set an angel before the Tree of Life, to protect Adam and Eve from such a fate.

I know the secret to immortality, accepting and following Christ. By doing so, your sins are forgiven and you can live forever in heaven, which isn't a bad deal, as heaven is pretty nice, gold streets, foundations made of gems, not bad.

You seem to assume that Christianity is unfounded, it isn't, I've researched a bit, and the more I've learned, the more convinced I am that it's right.

A) there IS no point to christianity PERIOD
B) if there was a secret to immortality, I wouldn't want it
C) I WOULD tell all the atheists and satanists and jews and muslims and hindus and buddhists etc, the secrets to immortaltity, not the christians.

The point of Christianity isn't the quantity of life, but the quality of life. It is the changed heart that Christ gives that lets you live free of sin, walk in His love, able to do His will, and change your world for the better. Heaven is just a bonus at the end.

Uhh i guess so.. but even if there were a way to become imortal i wouldn't do it. Having to live on this earth forever is more of a curse than anything else. I belive in an afterlife and reincarnation. I want to continue my spiritual growth in this life and in the next. Living on this earth forever wouldn't allow me to grow spiritually.

Simple. Even if we became immortal, the majority of the world would still be stupid. Religion preys on stupidity and gullibility, ergo religion survives.

OK say your theory of immorality could be found. Who would be the decider of who lives and who dies? This earth would be so overpopulated that everyday would be war. You think global warming is bad now just think what it would be then. Where would we put all of the people? Yes Christianity would be well and alive. Sad point to ponder where there is natural life there is natural death.

The point of Christianity is relationship with God, that is what heaven is about, being face to face with God. You can't negate that, because living in this fallen world forever without him would be hell.
