Though you don't have any past work experience - this is already known by the employer - so don't lie or exaggerate. Also, don't say anything negative about other people or places. Be positive and upbeat.

Though you don't have work experience - you do have some life experiences and you need to try and take these and apply them to a work environment. If you belong to any groups or organizations, mention them and also indicate that this is a reflection of working as a team and getting projects accomplished. If you are often the person in charge, this shows you have leadership abilities.

Emphasize the things that you do best. If you are good a public speaking, say so. If you have writing talents, point that out. There are many older workers out there who have trouble writing a proper sentence. You could get extra points if you are bi-lingual. Also if you like math or are very organized, this may help you.

If you know what type of job you may get, try to learn something about the company. You can use this knowledge to show why you are interested in working there. These hints are valid reasons why you are the best person for the job. Good luck.
