I heard him talking to SOMETHING one night while he was levitating a table all over the stage. Explain the chair he levitated with the people sitting in it. He (or something) did this trick over and over. I didn't see any strings! And the helicopter flying in the airspace usually occupied by the Statue of Liberty was the best smoke and mirrors (not) I've ever seen. I think he's a warlock.

David Cooperifeld himself admitted that "we use spirits (i.e., jinn) in our tricks" (paraphrased) in the "The Magic of David Copperfield XIV: Flying - Live the Dream". It was said shortly after or before the Orson Welles appearance in that particular episode.

People do amazing things. Houdini for example challenged anyone to design shackles and ropes that could bind him, and he always escaped. He escaped from inescapable jail cells. David Copperfield is also a talented magician, but all his tricks can be explained.

Many people believe that true magicians are working with the jinn. I don't believe you can sell your soul to them but you can choose to go against Allah, in which case, you may end up in hell but only Allah knows and can judge.

He does his magic by using modern science. the illusions are made by using extreme light, electricity and other mechanical devices. So it appears like that. Infact, it can't be. The feat he is famous for, vanishing Statue of liberty, was also proved that it was done using mechanical formula to dazzle people's eyes.

He doesn't seem like a man of God. I can believe he possibly "sold" his soul.
