I mean, the most vocal people in the immigration forum have firm opinions of the subject. Have you received/read any responses that have made you wonder about your position on immigration?

No,I pretty much say what I feel. But one time "Hadenough"asked a question that really made me think. She basically asked if any pro illegals only felt that way because they loved the illegal person.I'm not sure exactly how she worded it,but thats close enough. And I admitted that I'm not sure if thats my reason(my hubbies illegal)or not.I mean, somethings anti-illegals say are true. And I agree with some. But I hate racism and feel some on here are just picking fights.Anyway, her question made me think..would I feel this strongly about the issue if we weren't married?Probably. It's just realer when close to home.Anyway, thats about it.:-)

Yeah. I was more moderate on the subject. But since being messaged with something to the effect that all white people should be rounded up and shot AND since reading the invader/Aztec crap on Answers, I have a stronger opinion against immigration.

I think stronger laws need to be inforced. I agree that as a powerful country we should help those who cannot help themselves such as refugees, however i once heard a story of a landlord who let a house out to the government and they gave it to immigrants. When the landlord was talking to them he quickly discovered they were in no danger where they came from but the guy who interviewed them didn't even know in which area of the country the war was in so he just let them and their family come into the country.

I have yet to see a valid answer from a pro illegal ... the antis can back up their statements with facts and figures ... so far all i've seen from pro illegals is the tattered old race card ... and "they're only here to better themselves" ... if and when I see verifiable facts from a pro illegal that law breaking on a massive scale is somehow good for the United States, I might revise my opinion ... until then, I'm firmly in the anti illegal camp ....

Nope, I stand my ground. Nobody could make me change my mind about the way I feel.
