You are a minor until you are 18; however, you have certian inalienable rights.
The questions is: what rights do you want? And, generally, 16 year old people still need guidance and protection.
If you need to leave your house for reasons of safety, start with a call to the police or, if you have already left home, call 1-800-RUNAWAY for help.
You can also call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1 800 843-5678, or, for other help, the Nine Line at (800) 999-9999

None. Your parents own you.
You need to be legally emancipated in order to leave them or you need to prove to the state that they are abusing you (why else would you be moving out? unless you're just a spoiled child, of course...). If they are abusing you, you need to call the police immediately. In order to be emancipated you will need to prove that you can take care of yourself and pay your bills, which will be difficult since you haven't finished high school and are too young for most jobs.

If you live in Connecticut you have the same civil rights as any other citizen in the USA. If you break the law, however, your parents will be held responsible for any damages.
