They're both about the same. They're both red meat, they come in similar cuts - so you can get leaner or fattier versions of each. Unless they're grown organically, they're both as likely to contain the same chances of containing pesticides or antibiotics etc. The only advantage pork has over beef is that the BSE prion hasn't appeared in pigs yet, but there are fewer parasites in beef... They're exactly the same, really. There are a few minor differences in the B vitamins they contain, but as B vitamins are common, it's really nothing to worry about.
Make sure you only have red meat about once a week, and cut off all the fat before you cook.

That is a good question. Recently, lean pork has been rated to be an equivalent of a chicken breast. Lean beef is very good for you IF it is rated "Grass Fed". Grass fed beef is contains Omega 3 fatty acids, also found in Salmon and other fish. If they beef is not grass fed, it will have a high amount of Omega 6 fatty acids, which we get too much of in your diet as is.

It may all depend on your choice of meat.
I suppose any meat, beef or pork with a lot of fat in it would be concidered unhealthy. But if you try to stay away from the fatty meats and cook them properly and eat meat in moderation, it would never be harmful.
