I agree with some of the other answerers, however, walking is just a small component of the overall picture.
To see weight loss, you need to burn more calories than you consume. That's the bottom line.
Your diet must be in order before you can lose weight. If you blindly walk for 30 minutes a day, but stuff yourself with food, you aren't going to lose weight.
I try to recommend to people that they need to start recording what they eat every day and the activities they do and make sure they come up with a calorie deficit (about 500 - 600 calories a day is good if you are overweight). Use a free website such as http://www.fitday.com to track your activities.
Failure to track your expenditures (and lack of patience) results in guesswork and ultimately failure.
Feel free to drop me a line if you have further questions about fitness / weight loss.
Good luck.

nicely it relies upon on the guy. Weight education daily is okay, in simple terms verify you paintings distinctive muscular tissues ever day. although i'd propose weight education at maximum 5 cases a week. I usually do yoga on sundays just to loosen up and that's additionally my relax day. To be easy the half-hour of strolling wont do a good deal for you except you are attempting to lose 30+ pounds. you're a lot extra effective off doing era education that's sprinting and resting, sprinting and resting, yet whilst this isn't any longer your form attempt strolling, an elliptical, or cycling. It additionally does not harm to with the aid of in some abs too.

u need to walk 60 minutes. (an hour) before u start seeing a difference.
But if an hour is too long if u run straight for 20 minutes in the same pace, 3 times a week. u'll see a difference.
but u also have to watch wat u eat. no junk food!
eat more vegetables, water, and fruits. try that for a week and u'll loose about 15 pounds. with the running included.
good luck.

For me it is about an hour a day. Or like 4 miles. Sometimes 8, but if you are on a low cal diet it really only takes like one hour

It depends on how many calories you burn during your walk and how many calories you take in each day. Get yourself a calorie pedometer to measure the calories burned during your walk. If you burn more than you take in, you'll lose weight. Good Luck
