Stop tripping you do not owe your BF's mom no explanation. It will all come to surface, just stay away from them and as long as the BF knows your side of the story that is all that matters. U have to realize although you are dating the son which is the brother the mom will always believe her kids. I am sure she may believe the sister over him because of the relationship~ The sister probably said your BF paid the rent but not you. Seems like the sister is jealous of you. Girl, let me find out she wants to spoon feed her brother. Well tell her this the next time if you feel the need to spread lie then first tell a bad one about yourself~

You can't prove anything, not even your boyfriend can help out cause his mother will think he's just defending you. Sooner or later the mother will have her eyes opened wide when the psycho tells something about a wrong person and will be caught in the lie. It always happens. May be later than sooner, but it always comes back to haunt the liar.

Right now you need your boyfriend to back you up on this.
Why is she so against you to begin with? Maybe the two of you can talk over a slice of pizza or something. Ask her why she defamed you to J and A's mother. What is her reasoning? If you've ever wronged her in any way, now is the time to make it right, and vice versa, provided she is willing.
I say talking to her in a calm manner is an excellent first step towards rectifying this problem. Also, perhaps you and your boyfriend can sit down with his mother and discuss things, so you can clear your name.

Read this book: "Mean Girls Grown Up: Adult Women Who Are Still Queen Bees, Middle Bees, and Afraid-to-Bees" by by Cheryl Dellasega. It sound like she might be a Queen Bee. I can relate, my sister-in-law (husband's brother's wife) is the same way. I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you make a really big fuss out of it you are just playing into her game. However, if you really feel someone should talk to the mother it should be your boyfriend.

You don't prove that you didn't do anything wrong. All you do is keep doing stuff right, and make sure you do it right in a way that is visible by his Mom.
When you are with a lying psychotic manipulator like that, you won't win just by showing facts. I know it sounds screwed up, but My sister is like that, and she can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the sky is plaid if she sets her mind to it.
Just keep doing what you are doing, don't argue with her. If your boyfriends Mom says anything to you just smile and say, you can always check with My landlord if you like, or come over sometime.
Don't get defensive, just play it off like, Oh, is she saying stuff like that again, how cute.
Good luck, it won't be fun, but you can do it.

Do you have receipts for paying the rent on time? If his mother is that gullable and that hard to get along with, then the only thing that matters is that your boyfriend believes you. Family doesn't always get along. It would be great if they did. Concentrate on you and you and him being together. Its too bad his yonger brother has this terrible person in his life.

You shouldn't have to prove your self to her because your your own person. She'll soon find out what kind of lier that she's dealing with. What ever is in the dark will come to light. It won't hurt if your boyfriend speaks up for you.

the truth will always come to pass just sit back and wait for this girl to screw up.the thing about people like her is they manipulate situations to there advantage but a plan like that is flawed by design because anybody with even the minimum of common sense will eventually realize that you're not the one who's unemployed you're not the one who's mooching and you're not the one who doesn't have you're own apartment.just sit back and watch her screw up and be there when you're boyfriends mom comes to complain about her believe me she will.good luck

well, try getting a tape recorder and go ask her why she does that. record everything she says. more then likely, she'll fess up and she wont even know you have the tape recorder. then go show it to your boyfriends mom. she should believe you then. or you can just try and talk your boyfriend and his brother into kicking her out because you dont deserve to live with a B*tch like that. no offense maybe. but its the truth.
