If I keep smiling at you or keep talking to you, then I just maybe interested. I can offer you a drink but that's just cliche. If I like you, I want to get to know you. Not get you drunk. Personally, if I ask you out on the spot for a cup of coffee or to get out of a noisy place so that I can get to know you, listen to you better, that's a definite sign. A definite sign is also calling you the next day. I don't like to wait. And neither should you.

how old are you? in school they do dumb things to show off, out of school they turn up at the mall were you shop, they ask your friend about who you like, they show up at the movies when you are there. you get Little gifts at your house, phone calls that no ones talks and they hang up. if your out of school 17 18 years old its about the same. so if you like the guy just go up to him and have a talk with him, you spend so much time thinking about it when you can be with him and having some fun. good luck and be safe.

he looks at you then when you look at him he looks away. he talks to you and/or might seem shy around you. he turns red when you talk to him or touch him on the arm or something. hope that helps
