My best friend is moving. She is moving out of California and going to Oregon. What should I get her? I'm thinking about getting her one of those license plates that has their name on it and the state, California. Her name is Brooke. What should I get her?

The license plate idea sounds great! Just make sure they don't use front plates in Oregon. I just moved out to Arizona from Philly, and my friends made me mixed cd's for the ride, snack bags for the ride (complete with single fortune cookie!), framed pictures of us, or just took me out to dinner before I left! Just don't get her osmething big that will be hard to move. Have fun with that!

Oregon does us front license plates, and getting her custom plates here is something you have to pay for every two years. It's a very nice idea, but not the best for here.

Instead, why not get her a city pass to the city she's moving too (if it's a big enough city). That way she can find out what her new place is all about.

One of the best things to give, is a gift of money. If you know of any of the stores in Oregon that she might shop at, maybe get her a gift card.

Put together a beach themed basket filled with items from Breezy Beach Wear. Them add a stationary kit and some calling cards so she can always stay in touch!
