As far as I know, it's the English speakers who desperately need grammar books. Non-English speakers use grammar far more correct than English speakers.

- Grammar for First Certificate, Hashemi & Thomas (Cambridge)
- English Vocabulary in Use, intermediate and upper intermediate , S. Redman, Cambridge University Press
- Advanced Learners' Grammar , (Units 1 - 18) by Mark Foley & Diane Hall Longman, 2003 (excellent)

Try GRAMMAR IN USE by Raymond Murphy published by Cambridge.... Try the latest editin.. The book is yearly updated.. The contents are really good... It will not require you to learn the language the hard way..

No they're brave for even trying. 99% of Americans speak just one language.....we're very arrogant, not too smart but very arrogant.
