I assume you mean nonimmigrant visa (i.e. H, L, O, P, TN, etc.). If that is the case, as long your visa stamp in your passport indicates "M" for multiple entries, you can spend as long as you like outside the U.S. and re-enter as long as the visa is valid. If its a work visa, be sure you have a reasoned explanation as to why you were outside of the country for so long and get a letter from your employer stating that you are still within their employ --- otherwise they might not let you back in.
