By mistranslating and manipulating the names, Christians make it look as though the names of certain people in the Bible spell out a Christian theological belief. it is nonsense, and shows that anything can be interpreted any way anyone wants!

Some of the geneologies in the Old Testament do give us a double meaning, above and beyond the mere listing of names from one gerneration to the next.
The geneology of Genesis 5 covering Adam to Noah is an interesting study. The meanings of each name is critical, but they combine to give us a message of salvation.
Man
appointed
mortal
sorrow;
the blessed God
shall come down
teaching
His death shall bring
the despairing
rest, or comfort.
A similar geneology of the tribes of Israel, found in Numbers 1 is even more interesting because it does not give the names in chronological order. But as given, the names reveal yet another message to us under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Check it out: from Rueben to Nephtali.
HAPPY STUDYING!

It does not mean anymore than Surasak, Oginga, Bilal, Jue etc. which are not in the Bible.
People make up associations of names with whatever they can come up with. I recently saw a book that ascribed meanings to all the fanciful and creative names coming out of the African American community. Despite the fact that most of these names do not exist in Africa they were given African origins and meanings. Maybe 2000 years from now someone will be quoting that nonsense.
