There are many, Many ways to release negative energy. Bath is one of them. Water to cleanse , Vinegar to banish evil and negative influence out of your life, Salt for blessing. Mix it in the tub, say few words.. relax in the bath. As the negative energy drains out of you, you will feel very bad for 20 minutes...
Another one, Take a blank white paper, write down all the negative things that bothers you. Go out side. set it on fire. ( burn the paper not the house :) for immediate results do it on a Saturday, waining moon. Go crazy on expressing your feelings, cursing allowed. Remember no one will see it.
Work out like a mad person. Runing is the best. Join some sort of sports club to keep you happy. I have 10 more if you are interested. Stay positive :)

I go out for a power walk, it helps me release any and all negative thoughts, etc. A good cry helps too..journal writing. sometimes I even listen to big band music, I call it Music Therapy !!

Negative energy??? Do positive things. Smile at strangers, thank the people who do things for you. Tell your loved ones how much you appreciate them.

jogging hard with music in your ears that makes you feel good and energetic, you will need to do this a few times a week to keep warding off negative energy...it works for me

I usually go to the local river and go fishing, but if I can't happen to do that then I go out to the garage and throw my boxing gloves on and beat the crap out of it.

Yeah...there's this herb you roll up....and you ummm smoke it...takes away all that negativity.
