My mom has non hodgekins lymphatic cancer and would like to get a tatto on her leg. Her White blood cells are high right now, but she is on antibiotics. She has an appointment in a couple of days.

my mom isn't taking any treatment at the moment, she is just keeping track of white blood counts.

you didn't say if your mother was on chemo for her non hodgkins.
if she is then a tatoo would be out of the question since not only her infection fighting cells are down, but her blood clotting factors as well.

no type of surgery is ever recommended during chemotherapy for those two reasons, but there are also many more as chemotherapy weakens the entire body system, including the heart.

I have non-hodgkins lymphoma, but I have no tattoos. I wouldn't suggest getting a tattoo while on chemo. You should check with her doctor first. Chemo is a very strange time for your body. I sure wouldn't do it, but that's just me. I'm not a doctor. But I had blood complications during chemo without a tattoo. Best of luck to you and your mom.

Does she want it so badly? Tattoos are unhygeinic and risk to health.
