Does fat give off a foul odor?

No!
But fat is good insulation and if you are carrying around too much fat then you are well-insulated, which is going to make you hotter and sweatier.
Also, if you are overfat enough to have extra folds, that can trap sweat and grime and bacteria can accumulate and that can start to smell.
And if you are overfat enough that you have a hard time reaching everything, you might not be cleaning yourself well enough.
Fat itself doesn't smell worse, but being overfat can make it harder to stay clean, and that does smell.

Umm, euuwww. No. The only thing that would give off a foul odor is if you don't bathe often using good soap and make sure you get those areas clean.
