A lot of times, after I sneeze, my arms ache. Sometimes, it's even a bad shooting pain. Why does this happen? What's the connection between sneezing and my arms?

If it is just your left arm, it may be a heart problem you do not know about, since the heart does skip a beat when you sneeze and the left arm does hurt when you have a heart attack. If it is both arms, I would recommend seeing a doctor.

I thought I was the only one to experience that sensation...
both arms right down the the fingertips. Apparently when we sneeze really hard we tighten up the tendons in our arms. The sudden motion that the sneeze produces makes them tighten up just a little bit more beyond the normal range and makes the nerves go crazy. Then as the pain goes away it kind of tingles.

Could be crossed signals sending pain messages from your neck down your arms... I'd see a chiropractor if it hurts badly.

Well, this morning I threw my back out from a cough. I'm lying in bed now, but it hurts when I try to get up.

You're probably sneezing too hard.
