God loves your grandma & grandpa more than you do. That is why He sent His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish & will have everlasting life. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life. We all have sinned, so we all need to receive the gift of eternal life from God.
God loves you also. He is there to hear you where ever you are. Pray to God. Believe in Him. Without faith it is impossible to please God, for those who come to Him must believe that He Is, and is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. He says He loves you & will never leave or forsake you. He tells you to cast all your cares to Him because He cares for you.
We suffer in this life because of our own sin, other's sins or environmental sins. These things cause sickness & disease. The devil also hold's people in physical bondages (diseases) sometimes. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He came that we could have life & have it more abundantly.
Submit unto God, resist satan & satan flees.
Submitting to God is as simple as believing His Word, Praying it out loud to Him. Believing in His promises. Paying attention to Him. Trust & obey Him. Abide in His Love & Word, ask what you wish & He will give it to you. You need wisdom to handle the trials in your life right now. Ask without doubting & be specific. He will answer & give you wisdom.

God is not cruel, honey. S/he just isn't a micro-manager. God gave us free will and a big crazy beautiful world to see what we would do with it. Death and suffering totally sucks, I agree, but it is part of the plan.
You and your grandparents are not being punished. You are being given an opportunity to show your strength, your faith, your courage. God is giving you a chance to be a candle in the darkness, because s/he loves you.
Picture this: someday you have a kid. The kid wants to start skateboarding. You don't want to see your kid fall down and get hurt, which happens a lot in skateboarding. But you don't want your kid to be a sissy either. So you stand back and let them do it, and then comfort and heal them when they fall.
God's doing the same thing for you right now. Pain is an inevitable part of life, but the comfort is there for you as well.
Don't lose faith. I know it's rough right now. But it will be okay.

There are times in life when you gotta crawl,
Lose your grip, trip and fall
When you can't lean on no-one else:
That's when you find yourself
I've been around an' I've noticed that,
Walkin's easier when the road is flat
Them danged old heels'll get you every time
Yeah, the good Lord gave us mountains,
So we could learn how to climb
---------------
I am not Christian, but I believe in God. And I believe that God puts forth challenges for us in life. God would never give you anything that you can handle. The only thing that WILL get you through this IS your faith. All you can do is pray for them and ask that the remainder of their lives be as comfortable as possible for them.

From a Wiccan perspective... everything that happens in life is a lesson we are supposed to be learning. Perhaps these challenges are things for you to learn from. Atheists of course will tell you there is no God and that that's just life. Christians will tell you that it's God's will and that he'll never give you more than you can handle, and then probably some Biblical scriptures thrown in there, too.

we all have sinned much in our lives> all of us, whether we think we are "good" we actually are bad people> The consequence of sin is suffering> god didn't intend there to be suffering, but we screwd up by disobeying God. Yet, God is comforting and loving and he is willing to help your family ONLY if you don't have resentment against God. If you have anger in your heart, god can't help your family. What you must do and try is to pray w/ an open heart and pray to Jesus Christ that he may heal your grandparents afflictions, Jesus will never abandon your family, but you must be willing to invite him into your hearts and remain faithful through difficult times which we all go through. I wish your grandparents the best. peace.

Often people manifest illness over their lives to teach themselves lessons. Its not really a god thing. If anything god set up a system to teach us to responsible for our bodies and hearts, most illness is a result of poor eating, or living even if its hard to deal with.
It sounds like your grandparents are near the end of this process, I guess the best you can do is help them as much as you can. You might try praying for them, one way is see a healing ball of love and light around them
many blessings tronman

I never did anything 2 deserve what I go thru & neither do my grandparents….
Everyone deserves death... but Jesus Christ gives redemption
Maybe God is testing you. Were your grandparents Christian?
See your losing your faith, faith can move mountains, and maybe thats the reason they are dying, because youre not praying for them because they are dying.
And remember that everything isnt about you.

Why are you blaming God, that is a sin.
God didn't do this to you. Had your family always eaten healthy?
Men pollute this earth and than they blame God.
Maybe, it is your weak faith, maybe it is you blaming of God.
Have you ever read the book of Job?
He had it worst than you, but, it wasn't God doing it. It was satan.
Think about all this.
Do you and your family eat pork or other scavengers?
God told us what was good for us to eat. Do you and your family follow God's health laws, do you all follow his commandments?
Don't blame God! Take responsibility for your own actions and don't judge.
Repent and ask God to help you.

Dear Amanda,
First let me say that i'm so sorry to hear about all the pain for your grandparents and the pain you must be feeling watching them suffer. The question that you are really asking is-- "Why isn't God doing something about it?" i think first of all- diseases are a part of life- it reminds us that we are human, we are frail, and God was not the one who brought disease into the world. Secondly it's hard to have an expectation of God if you aren't really sure who He is (your question is- is there really a God, why is God so cruel). It's OK to be that honest about God- even the Psalmist did when they felt God had abandoned them, but they had a trust and a faith in God- and so i also want to encourage you if you do- that trying times are a time to show the genuineness of your faith in God.
God does not do stuff to us, He sovereignly allows what we are able to handle. He is the only one who can take something bad and bring some good out of it. Personally i've a Schizophrenic dad so some of the crazy things that your grandpa is seeing is kind of similar to my dad. i recently was able to share with a friend had a schizophrenic mom and was able to be a great comfort to their family. God didn't make my dad schizophrenic just so i could help my friend, He's a good God! But He does take something terrible and bring good out of it- and somehow you will be able to have a bigger heart to comfort others.
It's wrong to think that God is punishing you (I didn't do anything to deserve what i'm going through). Part of life- is that it is filled with difficulties- trusting God is not always having rosy wonderful times, but being able to trust Him even in the midst of difficulties.
i can't understand everything perfectly but i've been through much pain and have had grandparents die and suffer, and so all i want to do is comfort you and let you know God cares, he hurts with you, and he is sending people to show you His love.
Prayer for Amanda: Jesus, please help Amanda and her grandparents. Lord, i pray that you would minimize whatever pain they are going through and that you would alleviate them from the unusual things they are seeing. Lord give Amanda the strength to draw near to you, and pray that you would bring some good out of this- draw their family closer, and let them know your love and care. Lord pray for the doctors and those giving medical treatment to her grandparents that you would utilize the skills they have and help them to treat her grandparents wisely and accurately. Comfort her like only you can and give her a peace that supersedes understanding. In Jesus Name. Amen.
I'll continue to pray for your family!
In God's Love,
Nickster

These are trials, they are temporary. The goodness and glory of God will one day overcome these human conditions.
Maybe you are learning more about life as a result of you grandparents suffering.
Hold tight and pray hard. God lives and he loves your family, one day you will understand, for now keep the faith.
God isn't doing this, it is a result of being human and experiencing life.
