I'm not a conservative and I'm still against the mosque being built there, for New Yorkers its too close, in time and memory to consider that reminder of Muslim treachery. Its not fair to Muslims, its like they want to rub it in or obliterate what they did and set up a place where the worship the same God that tells them to kill infidels. That's going to create even more bad feelings than there are now. Your analysis is wrong in one important way, Jews do not think the Messiah will return, they don't think Jesus was the messiah. For them it would be the first coming, not the second. It does affect American evangelical outlook though and that's one of the reasons the support for Israel is so high among Evangelicals. I don't think Israelis though are quite as interested in rebuilding the Temple currently held by several religious groups, Muslim, Christian and Jewish, rarely has one small bit of land been so fought over, and caused so much blood to be shed. To accomplish expelling Muslims from Jerusalem would cause more fighting, and for that matter, its not Evangelicals that are represented in the Christian monastery there, they are Roman and Greek Orthodox. Its not going to happen in either of our lifetimes that this will be resolved.

No. Why would they destroy the most sacred place to Muslims? BTW, Jesus already been here. You just didn't recognize H.I.M. He came like a theif in the night. The Branch of David, The Roots of Jesse. The Conquering Lion of Judah. The King of King's and The Lord of Lords. The Power of the Holy Trinity. All of these were "written upon his vesture". In Ahmaric, the language of Ethiopia, The Power of the Holy Trinity translates Hayilu Sillasie, or as we know it, Haile Selassie. Do yourself a favor, and go google Haile Selassie and see what comes up.

Armageddon is already happening, it's just not an overnight affair.
