Leave the boy alone.

Why do you want them circumsized? I think you should leave them both the way they are, it causes unnecissary pain for them. I don't know about whether they would put him to sleep or not, but I would guess not on something like that. I have a 2 year old who is uncurcumsized, and have no regrets. My hubby is circumsized, and would rather not be. So I would say leave it and if they want it done when they grow up, let them make the choice of whether or not to lose part of their genitals. But either way, just call the pediatrician, he'll tell you.

He can still get circumsized. Yes, they'll put him to sleep. But I'd just leave it alone. My ex husband was not circumsized and it's perfectly okay. Just be sure to keep him clean, clean or he can have problems later. The older they are, the worse it is to do. So if you're going to do it, do it NOW.

Would you perform female circumcision for a girl?...of course not! Then WHY would you cause a small infant to suffer the same PAIN and TRAUMA for an unnecessary procedure, for the prejudiced vanity sake of looks and preferance?
Why is mutilating your son's body your choice?
It's HIS body, give it to him WHOLE. It should be HIS choice ...when and if he so desire's....or not!!!!

Yes you can and I would. They can have so much trouble with it if you don't. When he gets older and takes his own baths he may not clean it like he should.
