I have something fairly small stuck in my left eye. It is under my upper eyelid. I've tried blowing on it, using eye wash, and massaging it to the corner of my eye to remove it, but it's still there. I'm not very good at keeping my eye open when it comes to liquid dropping into my eye, especially when I need to squirt it in my eye, like in the case of using the eye wash. Maybe I haven't used the eye wash correctly. I don't know. But what's the best way to get this damn thing out. It doesn't hurt, just annoying the hell out of me and probably a good idea to remove it anyways. Usually tiny things like this removes itself and I don't notice it later on, but this one is killing me.

I'm afraid to scratch my cornea or damage anything else.

Fill your bathroom sink with tepid (room temperature) water. Hold your breath and put your face in the sink. Open your eyes, blink a lot and look around.

Repeat until it's gone.

I hate eyedrops, but that method always works for me.

You might just have to break down and go to your optometrist. Something under your eyelid can easily scratch your eye when you blink - leading to the possiblity of developing an infection. Try washing your eye out again and if you can't get it out, go get professional help doing it. Your eyes aren't something you want to fool with.
