Answer every question that does not pertain to them? or gives a smart senical remark? or just is nasty and rude for no reason,when no one is forcing there belief on them! its so ridiculous why atheist and non believers bash christianity,go bash mohommad or buddah,or all those greek gods,or pagans,or witchcraft,or are they just obsessed with Christianity?

If you think that every non-believer is acting inappropriately either here or elsewhere then you are only looking at those who bother you and ignoring the rest.

The reason you see non-believers 'bashing' Christianity more than other religions is because this is an English speaking forum and therefore contains a lot of American atheists who have to deal with Christians pushing their beliefs into society and government on a daily basis. Inappropriate name calling is, of course, unnecessary but answering the question from another viewpoint is not bashing and may very well be the truth.

ps: You don't get very far with 'backsliders' by telling them they are demon infested...that just makes you look silly to us.

I studied the Bible in school. I taught religious knowledge in high school and I must say I have never seen as many hypocritical, hatemongers and warmongers as Christians. Let's not go back to the crusades. Let's just look at recent history. You are bashing the wrong people. You should be bashing the homophobes, the creationists, the crusaders, the child-molesting priests, the televangelists, the ayatollahs of Washington DC and for good measure let's throw in their mirror images, the mullahs and ayatollahs of Islam.
I am not backsliding on anything I know more or as much of where you're coming from.

Yes, whenever a lot of Zeus worshippers start to impose their religious rules on us, and demand equal time for their "overthrow of the Titans" theory along with Evolution, I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. Face it, in the west, only Christianity affects our everyday lives significantly, whether you believe or not. So it makes sense for non-believers to specifically target the flaws of Christianity. Islam pops up now and then, but mainly in the Middle East. Muslims in the west are not really in a position to dictate anything, unlike Christians.

Same reason why religious people will inevitably answer athiests questions when they don't apply to them. People are drawn to conflict. When there's a clash of world views, people tend to bring attention to it.

Me, I'm agnostic. So I like to answer questions, exploring possible outlooks, and generally just being overall informative. It's my personal style. If nothing else, the Religion and Spirituality boards aren't about life experience, so people aren't as limited in which questions they can answer. Things are less about fact and more about interpretation and theory. For that reason, it's in a sense a more "fun" board, for athiests or otherwise.

Excuse you!!! My religious beliefs are frequently bashed as well. Christianity does not have a monopoly on being picked on. Every group of people have their zealots, and all have their problem children that make the group as a whole look bad.
Why would you wish for another group to be persecuted and have their feeling trampled on? You seem hurt that it has happened to you. It may just be me, but I wouldn't wish any ill towards anyone of any faith.

Well, considering your name-calling you're one to talk. Talk about being nasty. I don't think anyone's "obsessed" with "attacking or bashing" Christianity, it just so happens that in the US, Christianity is the majority religion. Therefore, people who are not Christian, are a minority. History has told us the majorities like to take control and suppress minorities... does it surprise you then that such minorities might at times become frustrated with Christians, then?

Because christians bash the atheists and stick their noses in where they aren't wanted. Both parties are guilty of doing this. Belive it or not but everyone is a hyprocrit its just human nature.
