Today we, the inhabitants of our planate have knowledge, science, food, facilites but we are also dying of cancer, AIDS, accidents and we lack understanding of universe. We can colonize the glaxies, eliminate all disease, improove our genes, have unimagined facilites say-a thought driven car running on stored solar energy which will fly of my window and navigating with the help of computers will fly-swim-dive or go through the space to take me any where. The future can be fantastic for the inhbitants of our planate. But, we are wasting the chances and resources of our future generations in stupid waste of resources in foolishly thinking that one riligion, race or nationality is good and another is bad. The foolish are creating devisions, terrorism, wars and this is draining the men-money-matterial and time which could be used insted in productive research in cancer, cardiac diseases, trauma and other medical care - newer eatables, machines, space crafts, life styles , new poetry -love.

Do you know anything about the HISTORY of mankind or the NATURE of mankind? None of these "devisions" are new and no matter how far advanced man becomes...the nature of man will always take us back five steps. It is in our very nature to create and destroy.
As far as your "productive research" argument...our quality of health is the best it has ever been in all of history...do you want to live forever? Sorry, not possible. We are all here to go.
None of us are here that long...I would stop pondering already answered questions and start living with what you have!! But I like your view...it is simple and untainted.
