Ive frozen it off myself, used wart/corn pads, even went to the Docs and he burned/froze it off. It just keeps coming back bigger and stronger! I am now without health insurance and it is as beastly as Ive ever seen it (almost a 6th finger) so I am looking for household remedies that will work. Thanks!

Try using duct tape. Believe it or not, this worked when I tried it on my daughter's wart. Cover the wart with the tape as you would use a bandage. Leave it for 3-4 days. Check after that time, it shoud be shrinking. Retape for another 3-4 days. By that time it should be gone. I don't know how this works, just that it does.

I also had a wart on my finger for about 18 months and tried all of the over the counter remedies and nothing worked. However I finally got rid of it with an old remedy - put raw garlic directly on the wart then cover it with a band aid. You need to put fresh garlic on it daily and keep it covered (day and night) It smells vile but dont give up. After one week of doing this the wart disappeared like magic and I have never had one since. All the best.

This is what I did.. and it worked AMAZINGLY after trying and trying.. Duct Tape... Get some compound W or something wrap the sucker up in duct tape.. and leave it for a day or 2.. take the tape of, and scrape it gently .. then do it again till it's gone.. takes like 2 weeks.. it worked really well, and I even had mine lazered at the dr.. still came back.. not this time.

This might sound dumb but it works. Soak your finger in warm water then cut a white potato and rub the white inside part of the potato on it. It may take a couple of weeks but it will go away. something in the potato acts with the virus and it goes away. Also you can put duct tape on it and that will take it off, but then you have to dig out those nasty black roots afterwards.

Try covering it with a band-aid eventually it will just fall off. My mom used to do that for my brothers all the time. I never had a wort so I don't know too much other information to give you.

Old Indian remade-My Mother who has Indian heritage was taught this as a young girl and I remember people in our small town coming over to have her do it.It sounds a bit odd but it really worked for many people, you have to find old chicken bones like out of the trash(Iknow gross) but break the bone and rub on the wart it really worked.

get an exacto blade and get really drunk..then burn the blade to sterilize it. Soak the finger in ice water until its purpleish, and numb. cut around the wart at an angle and deep enough to get the root of the wart....like cutting segments from a grapefruit. Then take tweezers and grip the wart....Pull quickly and firmly...good luck...takes some pain tolerance thats why I reccomend being drunk.
