Try getting low lights.Instead of getting highlights (lighter than natural), ask for low lights (same or darker the natural). If you get low lights the same color as your natural hair it will make it look like you have very few highlights until eventually, your hair is all one color. This enables you to go back in stages, instead of dramitically changing your hair at one time. Make sure you sit down and look at the swatches of hair together. Let your stylist make the final decision, but ALWAYS make sure you know what color is going on your hair.

ok i am a hair designer color wont lift color but color will color over color if u want to go darker u r ok if u cant afford to go to the beauty shop use loreal they invented color so there the best to go buy now u need to choose your exact level of color look in the top part in the lite go to the store hope they have swatches and choose the 1 thats closest to ur new growth and color your entire head now incase u burn use one packet of pink saccerine in the dye and your scalp will not burn old hair stylist trick leave this on at least 25 min to deposit you should be all set and goodluck i hope i have helped you no need to wait but member loreal is the best over the counter have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Find a hair dye color closest to your natural color (if you're stuck between 2, pick the darker one, since you dyed your hair lighter) and dye it just one more time. That should help.

Maybe you can get highlights. Only certain strands will be colored and blended in with your natural hair color.
