It's not worth it if it's just handed to you. You have to suffer for your sins to get into heaven. Plus this just makes your faith stronger when you are tested about it.

Not me. I don't wish being a christian wasn't so hard. Just because no where in the bible it says being a christian isn't so hard. If God wanted us to have it so easy you might as well not be a christian.

What exactly about being a Christian is difficult? You aren't expected to do anything other than show up at church, and most people in the US believe similar things. You aren't suppressed, oppressed, or prejudiced against by most Americans. Isn't Christianity the easiest religion to be affiliated with?

If you find it hard to be one, you are not yet one. His yoke is easy.
You are living too much in this world and the spirit of God has not taken over. True believers are the happiest people in the world.

There is no fear of death and live to serve their God.

It's hard if you look at Gods word as a rule book rather than a guide for living. In it are guides for living and loving. Imagine no traffic tickets. Never going to Jail. Does this happen to true believers, yes it does, but when we soul search we realized we have allowed the old man to come out. Our human nature.

We as Christians are not under the law but under the Blood of the Lamb of God.

If you are brought up in a church you are in a good place ,but must find God for your self, the word of God tells us to try every spirit. Question what seems to contradict the word and find God for yourself. Belonging to a church any church does not make you a Christian

It may be the religious preference you have chosen that is hard to follow, not being a christian. Many religions have beliefs that are difficult for anyone to follow. If you are presently a Baptist, try visiting a Methodist, Catholic or Episcopal church. You will eventually find one that fits your true beliefs.

Yeah, Christians have it pretty easy in the Western world. If you were a Muslim or a Jew or a Wiccan, then you'd have some right to complain. Christians are extremely secure in Europe and America -- maybe not so much in the mid-East or China -- but still ...

We don't have it half as hard as the missionaries do. I'm thankful to live in a country where I can go to any church I wish and worship Jesus any way I want to. Jesus said that the world isn't against us, it's against Him! Yeah, I'll take a little ribbing for him. He took way more than that for me, that's for sure.

Actually I feel just the opposite. The more I can feel the power of the holy spirit in me enabling me to choose right living over wrong living, the most exciting it is for me. "Bring it on" is my attitude.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Even when I fail, it's exhilerating. Why? Because God "works all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose". I believe His every word. I believe He will never let me fall, so all of it, even the difficult parts, are an adventure to me.

I don't. I just wish being a decent human being wasn't so hard... then we might have more of them around.
