i'm a pro chef, i really love this marinade and it's easy to make.

it's defiantly more of a charcoal grilled (no LP grills for me) type of sauce. but, you can use your oven broiler if you careful.

also, i like to use mesquite wood chips soaked in bourbon, when i cook

CORNELL BARBECUE SAUCE
(enough for 10 halves)

1 cup cooking oil
1 pint cider vinegar
3 Tablespoons salt
(Adjust quantity or eliminate to meet individual health needs and taste.
BBQ chicken basted frequently during cooking
will be saltier than chicken that has been lightly basted.)
1 Tablespoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 egg

Beat the egg, then add the oil and beat again.
Add other ingredients and stir.
Brush sauce on the broiler halves every few minutes during cooking.

The recipe can be varied to suit individual tastes.

Leftover sauce can be stored in a glass jar in the refrigerator for several weeks.

'Don't Kiss Me' Garlic Chicken Marinade
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 head garlic, crushed
2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tbsp. sugar
Mix ingredients and marinate chicken for a minimum of 15 minutes (1-2 hours in fridge is best) Hold back some of the marinade and boil (at a medium-high temperature) until the garlic turns slightly brown. Serve over chicken. Boiling the marinade imparts a wonderful nutty and zesty flavor to the maranade.

Go to the store.
Buy a chicken marinade off the shelf.
A fraction of the headache, a fraction of the cost, exponentially easier and faster.

You should buy MOJO. I'm sure you've heard it before if not tried already but I promise you, you'll love it if you cook your chicken with that sauce.
It's very cheap for a big bottle and delicious.
