How old are you? I mean, really...if you're a teenager or even into your early 20's, now is the time to experiment and date a lot. See what there is all to see, do what there is all to do. At and early age, your relationships shouldn't be so serious and exclusive. Talk to your girlfriend and find out if she is okay with both of you seeing other people. It can, and has, been done. Maybe set up some rules that you both can live by that would prevent hurt feelings. Don't be surprised if she gets upset, I mean...be serious, if she approached you with the same situation how would you deal with it? She shouldn't be against meeting other people and learning about herself and what she wants, and the same goes for you. If your current girlfriend turns out to be "the one" and you turn out to be her "one" then it will all work out. It will probably work out better being that both of you have seen what else is out there. Being young is about having fun, learning, experiencing, growing....being "grown-up" is applying those lessons. So..good luck!

I hate this. You are going to end up hurting the girlfriend either way. Would you rather hurt her for a few days by breaking up with her or hurt her and have her hate you forever when she finds out you have feelings for another girl and what if you end up cheating on her. Breaking up with her is your best bet if you're not going to separate yourself from your friend.

Gently explain to your girlfriend that she wasnt meant for you. Make sure she feels comforted adn not just let down. Then get together with your good friend. But maybe try to throw in your ex on a few double dates with you guys. Make her feel like she is stil your friend.

She how serious this other girl is. But, most importantly, tell your girlfriend. She would seriously rather know then find out later. And, don't lie to either of them. I know easier said then done, but its best. Good luck!

You need to drop the girlfriend. Why stay with her if you like this other girl. Dump her and go with the other girl.
