trying to shave or wax will only cause the hair to come back thicker and darker.
if you can't afford to have electrolysis, have it bleached by a professional.

First: Shaving doesnt make any hair grow back thicker. It does however act as an exfoliator which may cause hair to grow faster. The best thing to do is wax the problem areas. If you go to a salon to do it, they will know the proper steps to take. If you chose to do it at home, here are a few tips! 1) try applying a warm towel to the area first to open the pores and allow the hair to be removed easily & with less pain 2) Rub the strip on the area well, you dont want to wax the same area more than once 3) after you wax, use any oil to get off residue and then apply an astrigent or toner to close the pores (this will prevent any irritation)

don't shave, it grows back thicker. See if the doctors could do anything. Wax for the time being, if you have the money then Hair laser removal which lasts up to a year sounds pretty good. I am unfortuanatley having the same problem as you, my mom says it is natural, but i still want a doctors opinion.

I see three options here
- don't and never wear a bikini
- shave and wear bikini
- don't shave and buy one piece non-revealing swimsuits
it is okay to shave and "yes" it will grow back, thicker an longer. You have to keep on shaving. No one is born hairless.
In place of shaving you can try depilatories (a hair removing cream that easily washes off with warm water) That is what i use
There is also waxing
And you can try hair removing laser treatments at beauty clinics
Bonne chance!

Wax it's more painful but totally worth it. Shaving the hair won't grow back thicker that is a myth you'll just end up shaving twice as much as getting waxed.

Thinking that hair will grow back thicker after shaving is just an old wives tale. I would recommend either shaving or waxing, or if you can afford it go have some electrolysis done.

that is a common misconception that hair grows back quicker or thicker if you shave it. try getting it waxed, or using the hair removal creams. i would recommend the wax if you can handle it, it stays smooth longer and does a better job. try the at home kits or going to a salon.

I have the same problem. Don't shave--the stubble will grow out very thick.
I use Nair. Just apply, wait four minutes, and wipe off with a damp washcloth. It lasts for about a week.
