Ok my mom has this new husband after getting devorsed and everytime I do one little thing wrong I get in BIG trouble. Like if i put the dishes up wrong all he does is goes to my mom and tell my mom what I did like it is some big deal..what should I do? Im confused!

i had 2 step parents like that talk to your mom. this is her problem she married him.my kids have a step dad and if he ever treated them bad or unfair i would have to step in the kids should come first

Wow, that brings back some memories of my own childhood. My mom remarried when I was 9 years old, and I never got along iwth my stepfather ever! He used to complain about everything I did wrong and unfortunately it put my mom in a tough position. She must love him for some reason and I am sure she loves you too, but there will be times when she will side with you and other times she will side with him. I know it sucks, believe me..I used to get in trouble for watching tv, but he was smart about it, and only yelled or made a big deal when my mom was not around. He had a tough childhood and his parents treated him like crap, which is why I would imagine he treated me the same way...The only way I dealt with it was by talking to my mom and explaining to her what he did when she was not around...he was never physically abusive, but he definitely crossed the line of being verbally abusive with me..your mom should know how you feel and maybe she can talk to him about taking it easier on you.

Relax, this is an issue between your mom and her new husband. They need to work out what how they are going to parent you. The first step is for you to talk to your mom and let her know how you feel and ask her what these new rules are and how you can avoid getting in trouble. If she can't tell you then let her know she and the new hubby need to figure this out so that your not so confused and constantly getting in trouble.

Just be very careful and always tell your mom about it and maybe a close relative.Not that all men are this way but most are, he maybe finding excuses to do you wrong.Keep an eye out and try to do things right.

Tell him if he has a problem with what you are doing he can come to you like a man rather than going behind your back. He sounds like a moron who likes to throw his weight around.

It might be a big deal because since they just got married, she is trying too hard to please him and not cause confrontation with him. I would tell her how you feel.

i think your mom is having problems with her new husband or maybe if she works she is having problems with work it could be anything but i think she does have a problem and i think you should confront her pronto!!!
