The Army is the main fighting force of a nation,Coast Guard seems to be a good choice,Air force is a big adventure but need to be highly trained and the marines have the toughest raining out of all the armed forces in the US.My choice is the Navy because you get to go around the world all year round and seems to be an exciting experience.

Under the current circumstances, and in that I have no desire to be in the military at my late age, I would choose the Navy. First of all, there is some family tradition, as my father and two brothers served in the Navy. Then too, unless there is a major war involving another naval power, it is a relatively safe place to be these days.

I would definitly join the marines. My dad was in the army, my one uncle was in the navy, and my other uncle was in the marines. Having heard all of them talk about their experiences I would have to say the marines, because that uncle is the nicest, leading the straightest life, (no drugs, alcohol and such) and he loved it, as opposed to my other uncle and dad who hated the navy and army. Plus the marines just sounds right to me, so if I had to join I would definitly join the marines!

Marines. Everyone would want to be a Jarhead. The Few, The Proud, The Marines.

Army. You aren't as likely to be put into the really tough situations as the marines are, but you still get to go and kill you some terrorists, which is a major plus.

Well, since my husband and I love to shoot(targets), I guess I would join the army. I watched a show on tv about sharpshooters at Fort Benning, GA. Those guys are amazingly accurate. I like to see or hear about military snipers taking out their target.

Navy or Air Force. You are less likely to be deployed in a war zone.
