I am 21 and a senior in college. I am interested in a man who is 36 years old..does anyone think that is too many years difference? Does anyone know any problems we would have from their own experience? Thanks!

I have no problem with age differences really. But a man who wants you at 21 is getting the much better deal. You only get to be young, desirable, and wanted by everyone once!!!!! Don't give it up on an older guy. Even if he has money and he is secure and he treats you well right now.

You will look back later and know...that the young girl is always wanted by everyone. No matter what. But the young guy only wants the young girl. Don't waste your best years on an older guy.

That is my view,...and I did the opposite and married an older guy young. I regret it every single day. Makes life harder later for you. Enjoy your youth...date the older guy when you are old.

The only difference is that he has already experienced most of what you are GOING to experience. Sometimes this becomes an issue.
Otherwise, age ain't nuthin but a number and basicallly, no matter what age the man doesn't mean he'll be more mature than a guy that's in his 20's.

Women mature faster than men so your mental level is probably right at the age 36 level. The only problems you might have is trying to satisfy the rest of the world so adjust your thought process early on. You have only your life to live; not everybody elses.

I understand your fascination with this man. And I understand how you must make him feel.

If you were 36 & him 51, I wouldn't be concerned. But you do not have the life experience this man does. Concentrate on your education.

When you turned 21, that made you an leagal adult. Adult being the key word, there is no barier in age (unless you try to date a guy underage). If your mature enough to handle a man that age, then go for it.

Age is just a number. My dad is 68 and his wife is 36.

Dont worry about age to me it doesnt matter the age if you are in love then you are in love and nothing else matters. But that is not a big diffrence my real father and his wife are 27 years apart and my friends mom and dad are 25 years apart. so that is not a big diffrence for you and your b/f or w.e

if you are happy what difference does the age make. I have seen many women who enjoy the company of older men.

The only age you should worry about is under 18. Other than that, it doesn't matter what other people think. It 's your life.
