Its pertaining to when you ask somebody "where are you going?" and they respond saying "I'm gonna see a man about a horse!", what in craziness land does that mean?

it doesnt mean what all the others say it means im going somewhere to do a dodgy deal or make some illegal buisness with someone its from centuries ago when we didnt have cars but horses

Gonna - means " going to " Example: I am gonna stop smoking next week. Wanna - means " want to " Example: I wanna go out to eat tonight.

my dad would tell me that when i was little to get me excited. as in he was getting me a horse to put in the backyard.

I always thought it was a "none of your business" answer, or a "look that way" answer to distract someone.
