Has anyone From Canada applied and recieved a Waiver to enter the united states?

Anyone out there, had to go though applying for a US entry Waiver (for police contact)? if so, please do tell me how long did it take once you sudmitted your application to the US immigration? and what kind of papers did you recieve? thank you in advance!

You used to just have to have your birth certificate, now I think you need to have your passport. Seems silly to have to have a passport just to go to Jasons.
